Our Faculty of Genetics, Dr. Claudio Casola, is organizing what should be a very exciting meeting this Fall on the De Novo Gene Birth, sponsored by the Society for Molecular Biology and Evolution on Nov. 6 -9, 2023 here at Texas A&M Hotel & Conference Center!!

Early-bird registration for students is only $30, and the GGEN program will pay the registration costs for any GGEN student in good standing that wants to attend (presenting a poster/talk is not required). The deadline for early registration is Aug 31st.
