“My lab is elucidating mechanisms contributing to male fertility using an interdisciplinary approach. We use genetic mouse models including transgenesis and gene mutation studies, genomic and proteomic expression analyses, advanced imaging technologies, and protein biochemistry to elucidate mechanisms in cellular morphogenesis of the developing spermatid including cytoskeletal and chromatin remodeling. This is relevant to male fertility, infertility, and contraceptive development as well as basic cell biological processes.“

How long have you been a faculty member at Texas A&M?
I joined the faculty and started my laboratory in 2017.
What made you choose to join the A&M faculty?
TAMU has a great faculty with research interests overlapping my own in reproductive biology, genetics, epigenetics, and toxicology. The diversity of faculty interests contribute to a stimulating environment and opportunities for exciting collaborative research.
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
Maybe a squid. How awesome would it be to glide around the ocean, exploring the reefs and ranges, and to change color at will.
