Dr. Ben Hayes, Associate Professor, Latrobe University, Melbourne, Australia will be teaching a short course on Linkage Disequilibrium and Genomic Selection from May 23-27. Although there is no charge for TAMU faculty, researchers or graduate students, registration is required. All sessions will be taught the TIPS Building Auditorium, Room 1002C

Dr. Hayes' visit to TAMU has been arranged by Dr. David Riley (Animal Science) and is co-sponsored by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Department of Animal Science, Department of Soil and Crop Sciences, Interdisciplinary Program in Genetics and the Whole Systems Genomics Initiative.
