Dr. Ben Hayes, Associate Professor, Latrobe University, Melbourne, Australia will be teaching a short course on Linkage Disequilibrium and Genomic Selection from May 23-27.  Although there is no charge for TAMU faculty, researchers or graduate students, registration is required.  Registration forms are available for download from animalscience.tamu.edu/images/pdf/workshops/genome-short-course-reg-form.pdf.

 

All sessions will be taught the TIPS Building Auditorium, Room 1002C

Dr. Hayes' visit to TAMU has been arranged by Dr. David Riley (Animal Science) and is co-sponsored by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Department of Animal Science, Department of Soil and Crop Sciences, Interdisciplinary Program in Genetics and the Whole Systems Genomics Initiative.
